Mohammad Yousuf’s shocking outburst: Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav insulted for avoiding handshake with Pakistan

Mohammad Yousuf: Former Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yousuf made objectionable remarks against Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav. During a TV discussion, Yousuf mocked Suryakumar and addressed him as a 'pig'. He also accused the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) of influencing the match officials. This controversy started with the incident of not shaking hands during the India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup. 

In the Asia Cup match held last Sunday, India proved its superiority by defeating Pakistan by 7 wickets. But more than the match, the discussion is about the fact that Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav did not shake hands with Pakistani captain Salman Ali Agha. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) held match referee Andy Pycroft responsible for this incident.

Controversial remarks by Mohammad Yusuf

Former Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yusuf used abusive language against Suryakumar Yadav during a discussion on a TV channel. He mocked Suryakumar by name and called him a 'pig'. Yusuf also targeted the BCCI and alleged that the Indian board is misusing its power. He said, "India is not able to get out of its film world. The BCCI is harassing Pakistan through umpires and match referees. This is shameful."

PCB's complaint and ICC's response

The Pakistan Cricket Board lodged a complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC) against this incident. The PCB demanded that match referee Andy Pycroft be removed from the remaining matches of the Asia Cup. The PCB also threatened that if their demand was not met, they could withdraw from the tournament.

However, the ICC rejected his demand. 69-year-old Zimbabwean Andy Pycroft, who has officiated in 695 international matches, will also officiate in the last group stage match between Pakistan and UAE on Wednesday.
